Barbaresco Asili Riserva

Behind the label of many vintages of Asili Riserva there lies some of the greatest ever wines produced in Italy. It is difficult to overstate the importance of this red label in the context of Piedmontese fine wine and there are many enthusiasts that might well label this the greatest wine in the world in any given vintage.

There are very few wines that display the gamut of flavour, nuance and energy as a great bottle of Asili red label. It is distinctly a Barbaresco wine, but with parallels to the intense, long lived but lithe wines of the great sites in Vosne-Romanee.
